A striking 14K gold colour with an opulent nose of sweet butter, butterscotch and peach pie. A very layered wine, it exudes ripe fruit and clean oaky notes with pineapple, apricot, pine, toast and smoke. All this complexity is held together by the rich, full mouth feel, a truly harmonious balance and long, rewarding finish. It is hard to resist the immediate gratification but this wine will improve over the next 5 months and reward patience for 3 to 5 years.
